WHO CAN GET A VAT REFUND
- Client must be a non-EU resident
- Minimum purchase of EUR 125.01 (VAT incl.) per invoice (all tickets included)
- Personal and non-professional purchase
- Client presents his Cheque correctly completed and stamped by a Customs desk of the EU, before the end of the 3rd month after the month of purchase
PROCEDURE
- Complete and sign the Cheque with the Client
- Keep the copy (2nd part) for your accounting
- Give the original of the Cheque to the Client, with a prepaid envelope, a flyer, and the tickets/invoices attached to the Cheque
- Remind the Client to make a copy if possible, and the terms of the VAT refund.
AT THE AIRPORT (any main exit airport of the EU)
- Client presents the goods, the Cheque to the Customs desk (with your passport and airline ticket) to receive the Customs stamp
- Client mails us the Cheque with our prepaid envelope (free from Belgium)
/!\ before the end of the 3rd month after the month of purchase
/!\ NO REIMBURSEMENT IF:
- Incomplete or incorrect Cheque
- No stamp from a EU Customs desk
REFUND METHOD
- Western Union or another money transfer agent active in the Client's country
- PayPal
- Bank account (if SEPA country*)
* SEPA = European Union + Switzerland + Norway + Iceland + Liechtenstein
DATE OF REFUND
- As soon as Departax receives Client’s Cheque and the funds from the Retailer
- Departax will add all the Cheques before paying the Client (more advantageous :)
